K and I headed over to Bend yesterday morning to see
Jack Jackson at the
Les Schwab Amphitheater. We arrived in warm, sunny Bend around 1:30 PM and checked into our hotel. We had Compass with us, of course, and went downtown for some ice cream and window shopping - killing time before the show. During our meandering we observed many a teenager donned in Jack Jackson tee shirts and irritating personas. When driving downtown we also noted the lack of parking near the venue.
As we licked on our melting ice cream cones and giggled at the confidently insecure teenagers we noted that we were truly enjoying the relaxation brought about by doing nothing. We finished our healthy snack and decided it was time to head back to the hotel and get ready for the show. As we were approaching our destination we noticed a round, spectacled man holding a sign that read, "Need Tickets". We zipped back to the hotel, grabbed our tickets, sold them to the round spectacled man, and went out to a nice dinner!
Ah...spontaneity.
