Picasa2

I have been looking for a photo/image manager for a while and read some good things about Google's free Picasa2. So, I decided to give it a try.

I have installed it on two machines (work and home) and have found it to be quite the nice little tool. Since I haven't previously used another image manager I don't have anything to compare it to, but I sure like the application.When the application loads for the first time it will scan your machine for image files and folders. Once the scan is complete, you are up and running. The images are easily browsed and searched. You can add captions, upload to Blogger, send images to Hello, email, print, etc. There are even touch-up features. You can create a web page, order prints...you name it, this image manager seems to do it.Two thumbs up on this free application from Google.
