Helpful RegEdit for Windows XP

Make Windows automatically shut down non–responsive tasks when shutting down or rebooting. No need to click End Now over and over...

• Open RegEdit Start > Run > type RegEdit > OK
• Browse to HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop
• Right click on AutoEndTasks
• Set value to 1
• Changes take effect at restart
